Victoria draws on her past experiences in the nonprofit and public sectors working directly with those most impacted by social justice issues. She works closely with her clients to assess needs, produce strong frameworks for articulating key strategies and expected outcomes and thenVictoria began her career working at a women’s shelter with survivors of intimate partner violence. During that time, she observed the countless barriers that vulnerable populations face in accessing services and navigating complex systems as well as the challenges experienced by organizations committed to serving those most in need. Her interest in addressing social injustices led her to social work. While studying to be a clinician, she discovered an affinity for data and shifted her focus to research and consulting. She honed her skills in applied research and consulting by working in the research and evaluation division of a large Los Angeles nonprofit serving diverse community members. She has since worked as a consultant with an array of clients, including the California Community Foundation, Council on American Islamic Relations, The James Irvine Foundation, The California Endowment, and Southern California Grantmakers.implementing rigorous evaluation approaches that generate actionable insights.
