Tarini is a student at the University of Chicago pursuing a Masters in Public Policy with a specialization in Data Analytics. Before starting graduate school, she founded the Lumiere Foundation, providing free research opportunities to talented, financially disadvantaged students worldwide.

She is interested in issues of development in low- and middle-income economies, particularly in relation to gender and economic mobility. Through her academic background and work experience, Tarini aims to help organizations across the social and public sectors develop data-driven solutions to their most pressing challenges.

Tarini holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Ashoka University in India.
