Rafael Olivares

Education: B.S. in Business concentrating in Finance and Economics from NYU Leonard N. Stern School of Business, Minor in Computer Science from NYU College of Arts and Sciences

Personal interests include: Biking, live music, consumer electronics and technology, reading (big fan of high and epic fantasy books), traveling, and podcasts (99% Invisible and Everything is Alive are current favorites)

Bio: Rafael holds a B.S. from New York University in Business with concentrations in Finance and Economics. He also has a minor in Computer Science from the College of Arts and Sciences. Rafael has been involved with Student Government as committee chair and electedofficial and is a founding board member of the Undergraduate Latin American Business Association (ULABA). 

He is a Corps Member with Teach for America in the Bay Area, focusing on bilingual education for K–6 schools. Previously, he has worked as a Launch Intern at Ernst & Young's Financial Services Office, and as a Summer Analyst at J.P. Morgan's Asset & Wealth Management division.

Rafael loves discovering new music and attending live concerts. He is originally from Spain but grew up moving around and has since lived in South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, and currently the United States. Rafael also spent a few months in Shanghai studying on NYU’s Shanghai campus.
