Cecilia P. Voetsch is a researcher, data analyst, and advocate with over 5 years of cumulative experience bridging complex data and actionable policy. During her undergraduate career, Cecilia conducted Educational Psychology research at Boston University regarding the traits of Exemplary School Counselors at the Elementary level and their approach to Career Readiness and Career Development. After graduation, Cecilia conducted research for consulting firms, including Weber Shandwick and Material+, where she worked on trackers for Fortune 500 clients, public agencies, and non-profit organizations. 

At the University of Maryland, Baltimore, Healthcare Housing & Equity Lab, Cecilia contributed to research regarding the need for equitable housing options for those traveling long distances for medical care. Her commitment to advocacy and human rights is further reflected in her work with the National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, where she synthesized the implications of complex legislation across multiple ecological levels and generated subsequent actionable policy recommendations. Additionally, she worked in community engagement at Sahiyo, working to end the practice of Female Genital Mutilation/ Cutting.
