Andrea Parra is a senior strategy and management consultant with over 12 years of experience working with nonprofits and social sector organizations across the United States and Latin America.

She has built her career advising CEOs, founders, and boards, helping leadership teams navigate complex organizational challenges, align strategy with mission, and build the operational infrastructure needed to grow and sustain impact.

Her work spans strategic planning, program design, theory of change development, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. She has served as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders across housing, workforce development, human services, civil and human rights, animal welfare and community development — translating research and qualitative findings into clear, actionable recommendations for executive and board audiences. She has spoken at the Philadelphia Federal Reserve on second-chance hiring program innovation and workforce development initiatives for justice-involved citizens.

A former Chief Operating Officer of a social enterprise, Andrea brings both the strategic perspective of a consultant and the operational experience of someone who has led organizations from the inside. She is bilingual in Spanish and English, and works with mission-driven organizations committed to racial equity, economic justice, and communities impacted by the housing, immigration, and justice systems. She is also an advocate and emerging voice on the frontier of AI for social impact, focused on developing responsible and equitable innovation in the sector.

She holds a BA in Growth and Structure of Cities from Bryn Mawr College, with extensive coursework at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and the Fels Institute of Government, as well as Wharton professor-led certifications in management consulting and finance. She holds a Professional Certificate in Fundraising from Villanova University School of Professional Studies, and is certified in AI Fluency for Nonprofits through Anthropic Academy. She is credentialed in Negotiation and Conflict Management by the United States Institute of Peace, and is an alum of the Harvard Business School CORE program.

When she is not consulting, Andrea can be found spoiling her rescue dog Coco, traveling, cooking, and hiking. She is based in the Bay Area, California.
